There are two truths about which many in the Muslim & Arabic speaking societies may not be aware: first, those philosophers in whom many Arabs and Muslims take great pride, such as Avicenna, Al-Farabi and Averroes, are considered infidels by the overwhelming majority of Muslim jurists…and second, the writings and ideas of Averroes and those like him revolved around the thinking of Aristotle, without which their own ideas would lack creativity.
